The Chabot Pre-Med Club offers students access to guest speakers from a wide range of healthcare careers, hands-on workshops, transfer and career guidance, volunteer opportunities, clinical and medical exposure, networking, leadership opportunities, and field trips that help students explore the world of healthcare beyond the classroom.
We are focused on giving community college students access to the kinds of opportunities, experiences, and connections that are often harder to find at this level. Our goal is to remove financial barriers and make these opportunities accessible to every student. Everything we offer through the club including meetings, events, and every single field trip is free for members because the club covers the cost.

Yes. Networking is one of the strongest parts of our club. We have hosted events like our Stanford student panel, where members connected directly with students at one of the top universities in the country and gained insight into their journeys and advice. We also brought around 40 Chabot students to Stanford’s SUMMA Pre-Health Conference, where members were able to network with medical students, admissions representatives, and healthcare professionals from across the country.
In addition, we regularly bring in guest speakers from different areas of healthcare, giving students direct access to professionals with real experience in the field. These opportunities go beyond just listening they allow our members to ask questions, build real connections, and gain insight into paths they want to pursue. For community college students, access like this is rare, and we work to bring it directly to Chabot.
